Michael Jackson Signed White Fedora Hat Autographed Thriller Coa Outstanding
I Meet Michael Jackson in Los Angeles and in New York City OVER a dozen times throughout the years. Not only did he shop at my family bookstores he also shopped at my movie memorabilia store on Hollywood Blvd and also Greenwich village, NYC. He would shop with family and with bodyguards. He was always very nice but quiet. Michael wanted me to bring merchandise to the recording studio on ventura blvd. I couldn't be more excited!! I put a collection together for him to look at, and arrived at the scheduled time. I was called into his dressing room and for 45 minutes, it was just the two of us, going over the collection, throwing ideas at each other, designing frames for the items he wanted. It was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life!
I met many stars in the years i had my memorabilia stores, most were great, some were not so nice. With Hollywood Studio Magazine, We shot 6 different covers, 2 are pictured here plus a test shot (i must give credit to the amazing and talented Rick Carl, a huge supporter of vintage hollywood and a great guy) a collectors magazine that i wrote articles for 2 years called "Ask The Expert". I have been on numerous tv shows for being an autograph expert including Entertainment Tonight. My name or my stores are credited in over 100 books on movie and rock stars, writers are the best and so interesting. We also did a tremendous amount of work for all the gossip and news tv shows.
They didn't have access to photographs and would call me and give me a list a mile long, I sure loved that! My career in movie and rock memorabilia starting in 1975 when i was 15 years old. Of course this is way before the internet. I didn't even know who most of the vintage movie stars were. I quickly learned (self taught, no school to teach you) but i was in the heart of it all, HOLLYWOOD!!
I meet and made friends from around the world. I love this business, I love movies.. Especially old ones pre 1960.
