The pictured item is the actual item you will receive. The contract was signed in 1969 during his one All-Star season, and features his signature in 5 places! Grant Jackson played for the 1965-70 Philadelphia Phillies, 1971-76 Baltimore Orioles, 1976 New York Yankees, 1977-81 Pittsburgh Pirates, 1981 Montreal Expos, 1982 Kansas City Royals, and 1982 Pittsburgh Pirates. As seen in the photo, the contract was folded in the past to fit into a small approximately 6" x 3 1/4" manila envelope.

For anyone unfamiliar with The Autographed Ball Company, this company was started by MLB player Richard B. If you have ever seen one of the classic vintage facsimile team signed baseballs that were available for sale at the ballparks and show up frequently in the hobby, these were created by The Autographed Ball Company. The company is still in business today providing the exact same service as it has for the last nearly 7 decades. They are the only company that has created the facsimile team signed baseballs, and will only create them for the current year teams.

The multiple signatures at the bottom of these contracts were used to obtain the signature that would be used for that given player when their name was added to one of the team baseballs. In some cases, you will see marks on the front or back of the contract showing where the company literally made the decision of which of the player's signatures would be used. Please note that the Dick Culler signature on these contracts is a pre-printed facsimile part of the contract. Please take a look at our other items available for sale.
